This is the time of year that the annual United Way Campaign takes place. The federal and provincial governments, and many other large employers, have a United Way Campaign at work . Employees can donate by a regular payroll deduction and can direct their donation to any registered charity.
If you work for an organization that has this campaign, or have friends and family that do, why not suggest to them that they direct their donation to L'Arche Halifax for our activities? All they have to do is supply our registered charity number on their donation form.

Canvas Bags
As a project of L’Arche working to establish a first home, L’Arche Halifax is also joining with the Atlantic Region of L'Arche Canada in helping support the L’Arche communities in South America where resources are very limited.
The sale of our canvas bags with the L'Arche Halifax logo is a way to generate money for these communities. In friendship we are linked with the community in Santa Domingo and enjoy hearing from them how our support helps.
The bags were produced by the Halifax Prescott Group and are available for $15.00. Should anyone wish to participate call the Community Leader at 407-5512.
